What Is Animal Reiki?
Animal Reiki is a specialised form of Reiki energy healing, shared respectfully with animals to support their physical, emotional and energetic wellbeing. I work intuitively and gently, allowing each animal to receive only the energy they are comfortable accepting.
Like Reiki for people, pet Reiki healing is intended to encourage a sense of peace and balance. Animals often respond naturally because they live very much in the present moment and are not usually attached to the worries we may carry as humans.

Why Are Animal Reiki Sessions Shorter?
Animals tend to be naturally present, open and honest in the way they receive energy. They do not generally hold on to the daily thoughts, worries and emotional pressures that people can carry.
For this reason, many animals absorb Reiki quickly and sessions can be shorter while still feeling deeply supportive. I never force energy or expect a particular response. Each animal receives only what they need and are willing to accept at that time.
How Does Remote Animal Reiki Work?
Distance is no barrier to Reiki. At your arranged appointment time, your animal can rest, sleep, play quietly or simply go about their normal routine at home while I connect with them remotely.
Before your session, I will ask for:
- Your name and location
- A recent photograph of your animal
- Details of any diagnosed conditions, treatment or recent surgery
- A completed consent form
- Anything you would like me to focus on during the session
You do not need to do anything complicated. I simply ask that, where possible, your animal has a calm environment and that you are available at home during the appointment. Afterwards, I will send you a WhatsApp voice note with my healing observations and any intuitive guidance I received.

What is the difference between Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki and Angelic Reiki?
Usui Reiki is the traditional Reiki system that forms the foundation of many Reiki practices. Karuna Reiki and Angelic Reiki are later Reiki-based approaches with their own methods and teachings. Larissa’s training includes Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Teramayan Reiki, Angelic Reiki and Lyran Starseed Pyramid Healing, which she draws on intuitively and respectfully for each animal.
How many Reiki sessions will my pet need?
The number of Animal Reiki sessions needed varies according to your pet’s individual circumstances, temperament and the support you would like to offer. Some owners choose a single session for relaxation or a particular change, while others arrange further sessions as part of their animal’s ongoing wellbeing routine.
Can Reiki support elderly or recovering animals?
Animal Reiki may offer gentle complementary comfort and relaxation for older animals or pets recovering from illness, surgery or significant change. It is not a medical treatment and must not replace veterinary care. For post-operative recovery or ongoing treatment, veterinary approval should be obtained before booking a Reiki session.
